Nick Ames After a storied 25-year career in real estate finance, with major national and community banks, Mr. Ames joined FortunatoHutchinson in 2009. He is responsible for business development and communications. Previously, Mr. Ames was with United Commercial Bank, a global financial institution focused on the Asian community, where he closed transactions worth more than $500 million. He was a key contributor to the bank’s rise from $14 per share to over $100 per share and asset growth from $1 billion to over $13 billion between 1999-2005. In 2006, Mr. Ames became an integral part of Wealth Management at the bank, where he focused on deposit generation, new business relationships and commercial real estate. Mr. Ames began his career at Wells Fargo Bank, where he was responsible for managing major accounts that led to the financing and development of two million square feet of commercial real estate for Gerald Hines Interests, Charles Schwab, and Legacy Partners. In 1984, he co-founded Borel Financial Group which provided debt and equity to a diverse group of foreign and domestic clients. |
